Workshops & Experiences to discover
The festival isn't just about balètis, it's also about immersion in Brazilian culture, with workshops open to all, so that everyone can learn and experience these traditions from the inside.
Songs and music:
- Candomblé songs: discover sacred Afro-Brazilian chants
- Maracatu percussion, a festive, percussive music emblematic of Brazilian carnival. Learn to play the powerful rhythms of Northeast Brazil.
Traditional dances :
- Cavalo-Marinho, a theatrical, playful and highly rhythmic dance.
- Maracatu, with its powerful drumming and collective movements.
- Forró, on two levels (beginners & advanced dancers), a warm and lively dance that brings everyone together on the dance floor. So that everyone can have fun at their own pace.
All these workshops are led by passionate artists and dancers who share their know-how and energy.
