Fanou Torracinta has been immersed in jazz from an early age. Trained by gypsy legend Tchavolo Schmitt, the young guitarist from the island impresses with his career. He has taken part in countless festivals, including Festival Django Reinhardt, Les Nuits de la Guitare de Patrimonio, Jazz In Marciac, Django Festival (Italy) and Jazz In Aiacciu. Last April, he released his latest album, Gypsy Guitar From Corsica volume 2, hailed by a unanimous specialized press, and considered by the American programmers of Django in June as "one of the best gypsy jazz albums of our time, worthy of years of study".
