Mairie de Cucuron

Mayor of Cucuron since May 23, 2020, Philippe EGG, is pleased to introduce you to this typically Provencal village, one of the most remarkable in the Southern Luberon.

You'll discover it as you stroll through its narrow streets and squares. In summer, you'll enjoy the shade of the two-hundred-year-old plane trees that line the Place de l'Étang.

While retaining its authenticity, Cucuron is alive and kicking all year round, with its shops, craftsmen, health professionals and weekly market, and thanks to the two pillars of its economy: agriculture and tourism, which the local population is keen to encourage.

A cultural life, a cinema, events around the lake (a starting point for hikes), outdoor sports activities (a favorite stopover for cycling tourists)... these are just some of the assets that attract many visitors.

The people of Cucuron are attached to their village. Social ties and living together are part of their daily lives.
